8 Months Development & Milestones

8 Months & Counting...

I think this has been one of the most significant months so far for mental development in terms of Asher starting to understand the things going on around him and what we are saying to him. His personality continues to emerge and his mind grows by the hour - or by the minute! He is having more and more "attached" moments. He is still a genuinely happy baby, eager to learn, generous with laughs, and sweet to the core. He's developed a crooked little smile, ripe with mischief.

8 Month Milestones

  • Still "dragging" himself along the floor, but now with Nascar speed!
  • Can sit up on his own (and does so in his crib in protest of sleep)
  • Can pick up and feed himself little snack puffs
  • Responds to (and sometimes listens to) "no"
  • Asher certainly has his preferences now and makes them known, i.e. favorite books and toys
  • Likes to "share" his binky with both me and John. He'll take it out and offer it to us. We politely decline the sweet gesture but applaud his willingness to share!
  • Mimics sounds
  • Uses his fat little pointer finger all day long!

Fun Times

Asher loves to chase the vacuum if he is on the floor. He's fast enough to catch it, too! He's very good at spotting any missed specks on the tile and likes to announce when he's found one by pointing to it with his chubby little finger and yelling, "ugghhhhh ugghhhhh!". Thanks for lookin' out, little guy!

BABY SIGNING UPDATE

Asher still doesn't consistently use sign language, but I know he is absorbing it and understands much of what I sign to him. He even is on the lookout for new signs - i.e. I showed him a lion on his pajamas by pointing to the lion and saying "lion". He looked at me, then the lion, then to my hands waiting to see the sign, which to his disappointment, I didn't know!

We've introduced lots of new signs throughout the past few weeks including "diaper change", "share", "brush teeth", "light", "airplane", "car", "bus", "duck" or "bird", "outside", "shoes", "socks", "friend", "hungry" and several more. Asher now signs "ball" when prompted for a game of rolling his ball around. We just work them into our everyday interaction with him.  I'm trying my best to stay consistent, which has been the hardest part of the baby sign language process.  I need to work on my sign language vocabulary so that I can show him new signs when he seems interested to learn them, such as the situation with the lion!

TEETHING

We have 6 teeth! Six! Can you believe how quickly these little buggers just pop out of nowhere? The two top/front teeth are slowly making their way down and 3 front/bottom teeth are almost completely up with 1 more trailing behind. No more gummy smiles around here! We teefin!

Bros.

PLAY & SUCH

It's pretty much official now that our house is a baby house. By that I mean that the furniture is not aesthetically positioned anymore so that we could contain Asher in a specific area and allow for more space to play, the rug that I hated is now back because it's soft and bigger for more play area, no matter how often I pick up, it seems to remain a constant mess, we've added another baby gate to the picture... the perfectionist inside is a little unsettled but, hey, what are you going to do? I just keep reminding myself that what is important right now is not a perfectly coordinated living room or lack of clutter on our counters. What's important is our baby, our family, and our sanity, even if that means a messy house from time to time. Or all the time.

SLEEP

I dream of the nights when Asher would sleep from 8pm-8am without so much as a peep from his cozy little bassinet, then I am awoken by the cries from his crib at 12am, 4am, 6am or 8am reminding me that those days indeed are gone.

Even with the multiple wakings a night, we had a nice bedtime routine going on for awhile, but then Asher got sick from a brief stint with daycare and a sniffly little 10-month old named Andrew, and now our bedtime routine has been disrupted, smashed, broken, and crushed to smithereens.

I'm not bitter about it at all, though.

As always, we will get through!

8 Down, 4 To Go...

We had no idea 8 months ago just what we were in for. We didn't know that this warm little swaddled bundle would soon shift and consume our entire lives, our decisions, our thoughts, our plans, and our photo libraries. But it happened and we are (tickled blue?) to be immersed in this new world.

I guess this is when we start planning the first b-day bash, huh? Oh, goodness. Pinterest, here I come!

Stale Cereal, Mama, Dada, & Doggy

Our Labor Day weekend was productive and eventful! We cleaned out our kitchen pantry which was much, much needed - even more so than I realized. I won't miss the cans of soup from 2008 or the box of stale cereal that had been taking up precious shelf space for months. We now actually have a place to store our baby formula and rice cereal! It's the small things in life, it really is.

This weekend also marked a very exciting milestone for baby Asher. He said "Mama" and "Dada"! Check it out...

We also think we may have heard "Doggy" but the jury's still out on that one. How exciting! These are definitely some of the greatest moments in parenting. And the 6 month cuddles... I die!

This month also marked another record breaker at our shop. Holy moly - we are busier than ever! I have to apologize for my lack of blog posts but this momma has been busy, busy, busy. Thank goodness that 6 1/2 months also brought some self-entertainment skills and Asher is able to play happily on his own for a little while. Our Pack and Plays have finally become our go-to lifesaving baby gear during the day. We keep one at our shop and have one in our living room now, too. He actually took a nap in it while we were getting our clean on in the pantry. Woop-woop!

This week is going to be another hectic one while we continue to fulfill the orders that have been pouring in throughout the past month. Asher's rearin' and ready to go with Signing Time and his Pack and Play. :)

Enjoy our latest iPhone favs and have a wonderful short week!

Asher the Yogi - Mommy & Me Yoga

I have been so overwhelmed for the past few days. I think when my 'to-do' list - the one inside my head - gets too long, I shut down and just don't want to do any of it. The dishes, the laundry, the explosion of "stuff" all over our counters and everywhere else in our house, cooking dinner, putting clothes away, answering Etsy inquiries and emails... the list goes on. I reach a point where I don't even want to do the fun stuff. { i.e. I have a box of photography things I ordered still sitting in our foyer, unopened. What?!? } Part of me wants to just get things done and out of the way, and the other just wants to sit on the couch and close my eyes...

So, much to your delight, I'm sure, I will just BLOG instead! :) Yes, you can thank me later.

Today, Asher and I went to a Mommy & Me yoga class with my friend Nancy and her 6 week old baby Marley (Asher's betrothed). Yoga is one of those activities people often turn to when their minds start to get overwhelmed; it can help calm and clear your head. So it was great timing for me, although, the Mommy & Me yoga isn't necessarily meditative because you are tending to your little one. The social aspect is a plus because you can connect with other moms with babies around the same age as yours and the physical aspect is definitely great. In addition, you get lots of quality mommy/baby bonding time!

I forgot how much of a workout yoga can be! My arms, legs, bum, and back all hurt already (in the good, strengthened way, of course). Asher really loved yoga! He was smiling and laughing and rolling around the whole time. His spirits stayed high into the evening, even after his squash solids and his bath. He kept laughing and happily screaming (a skill he worked on today) and then BAM! was fast asleep. Needless to say, we will be back for more yoga!

Click here for information on Downtown Yoga and their Mommy & Me classes: www.yogadowntownmelbourne.com

To perform the mommy/baby yoga move pictured above targeting your ABDOMINAL muscles, put baby in your lap facing outward with their back on your tummy (see me and Asher) or facing you with their back on your thighs (see Nancy and Marley). Hold your legs and feet off the ground as pictured above for 10 seconds or longer if you can! Do several reps. Your abs will be sore!

Lucky for this sleepy girl-turned-zombie, John has stepped up to the plate helping out around the house. Today, I came home, expecting to be greeted by that dreaded sink full of dirty dishes and was surprised with a clean, empty sink. Amazing. Now if we could figure out a way to keep it from filling back up so quickly...

Asher's original yoga outfit. We had to make an unexpected wardrobe swap right before leaving the house!

In other news, Asher is still SO close to crawling but not quite there yet. He did "inchworm" his whole body about 3 inches forward all at one time today, which is the farthest he has been able to go in one push. He gets upset after about 10 minutes of trying, his face reddens and he starts to breathe heavily in frustration. He wants to be mobile so badly!

Sumo (left) & Suki (right)

He still topples over when sitting, but now it's lengthening to about 10 seconds into the sit and he is slowly becoming more and more steady.

And, last but not least, Asher held his own bottle today! It was only for a few seconds, but you could just see the excitement in his face, he was proud to be holding it all by himself.

I am looking forward to the week - we are busy, busy, busy at our shop. I also bought another week's ingredient list in The Fresh 20 cookbook and will hopefully be making some meals this week. Tonight's was a flop because we don't have a grill (arrggh) so I'll be looking for different ways to utilize the ingredients I bought. And I'm tired, just so tired...

5 Months Development & Milestones

Dear Asher,

You are so interactive now! Within the past few weeks, you have let your silly personality come through. You are grabbing at toys more than ever - even today you are doing so more than yesterday! It's amazing how we wake up each morning to you doing something new. I am in awe of how much you are playing with your toys, reaching for Suki and Sumo, and following us around the room with your eyes and now turning your head when we go out of view.

Like all babies, you have your moments; but your budding personality is suggesting that you have a relatively patient and calm demeanor. There are times when you'll sit and watch me make Suki and Sumo's breakfast, make coffee, and get your bottle ready without making a peep. You'll even smile at me when I glance at you sitting happily in your Bumbo seat (which you are almost too big for!).

You are sweet, loving, and silly. You laugh when mommy does funny things like "the wave" with her arms. You love to reach for and pet your doggies. Luckily, they are patient and loving just like you. They don't even flinch if you tug on their ears. :)

You love to meet new people and are generous with your smiles. You still save the best ones for mommy and daddy, though. ;)

You know who your grandparents are, all 4! You get so excited when you see them. You are very lucky to have so many people who love you. I think we are all the lucky ones to have such a wonderful little guy to love!

I love to watch you grow. I love to watch you play and learn and develop. You are growing so fast and I am blessed to get to spend each day with you to witness it all happen. You are so very special.

I love you, little Asher!

Love always, Mommy

5 MONTHS OLD!!!

Asher is healthy and growing a strong! He has just acquired his second cold, though, and it's all my fault! He caught it from me but seems to be handling it much better than I am. Both of his first colds have come from me so if I could stop catching things we would be much better off! Hopefully the diet revamp helps - post updating on that coming soon!

SIGN LANGUAGE UPDATE - 5 MONTHS

We gave in and got the rest of the Baby Signing Time DVDs, a cardboard signing book, and "Mr. Hopkins" plush frog during a sale.

Asher's Intermittent Signs:

  • "More"
  • "Milk" - only while eating, not to ask for milk.
  • "Banana" and "Carrot" - Similar
  • "Eat"
  • "Up"

He makes excited noises when hears a word he's familiar with during the signing DVDs. He's started yelling out with glee when he hears "train"!

MILESTONES @ 5 MONTHS

  • Almost sitting by himself! Will "tripod" for several seconds along, then topples over.
  • Rolling quickly, either side, 360 degrees
  • Trying to crawl! Sometimes going backwards and gets so frustrated!
  • Grabbing and holding toys.
  • Reaching for toys, dogs, phone...
  • Still saying "aaa-ooooo" and "aaahhhh". New sounds will come up every once in awhile and especially in when he's playing!
  • Trying to grab spoon and hold bottle. Usually ends up pushing them away by accident!
  • Gazing at lights.

TEETHING SIGNS

Every so often we'll think he's having teething pain, but then we'll realize he had gas or something else. There have been a few days where his temperature has been elevated (99-99.7) and I thought this could be related to teething. I don't think I feel anything under the surface of his gums yet, so we're still on TOOTH WATCH!

SOLID FOOD UPDATE - 5 MONTHS

Because we've had a few traveling days thrown in where we were mostly on the road and are still getting back into the swing of things while catching up on work with our shop, we haven't stuck to an official baby solids feeding schedule quite yet. Some days we'll have breakfast (fresh mashed bananas mixed with formula), some days dinner (Happy Baby pureed carrots or squash), and some days both! I think Asher will appreciate knowing what to expect and when, so within a few days we'll get back on track and put a real schedule in place.

Foods we've introduced:

  • Bananas *Favorite
  • Avocado - Reaction, rash and redness
  • Carrots *Favorite
  • Butternut Squash
  • Apples - Not too fond yet.

POSTPARTUM UPDATE

Feeling mostly back to normal now. Back to pre-pregnancy weight, just need to do some toning up! Still losing a lot of hair, but I guess that is to be expected for awhile. :( My hormones would probably be mostly leveled off if I could stop forgetting to take my birth control pills!

At 5 months, we couldn't be happier with our little man. He is such a blessing and so fun to watch as her gets bigger and bigger each day. While I miss my tiny little baby, I am so excited for each new stage!

iPhone Favorites

We had a very busy weekend for baby! Saturday was my 2 nephews' combined birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was Asher and my first time there - what a whirlwind! That place is sure to be one of Asher's favorites once he gets a little older.

Sunday, we went to John's cousin's wife's (got that??) baby shower. Another second cousin for baby Asher is on his way! It was a beautiful shower with the cutest nautical theme. I fully intended on taking a million pics but unfortunately didn't even get one due to disposable diaper fiasco and overwhelmed baby episode.

This was the second day in a row that I found out just how unreliable Seventh Generation disposable diapers are for us. Asher doesn't fit into his cute little shorts in his cloth diapers, plus I am still waiting on 2 wet bags to arrive (my current wet bag will only fit 1 diaper at a time). I ventured back into the world of disposables again with a brand I thought might cut back on the redness. Well, yes, there was much less irritation but for the price of changing his clothes at each diaper change due to leakage! Ugh. Not impressed - taking suggestions for another disposable alternative. I wish our gDiapers would fit already!

NEW Developments 17 Weeks:
  • Looks like Asher wants to crawl. He kicks his legs while on his tummy and tucks his head under with frustration.
  • Suki & Sumo (pugs) howl when Asher cries! It's the cutest thing ever. They think their little bro is in distress.
  • More chewing than sucking on the pacifier during the day. Could we be teething?? No signs of pain. We'll see!
  • Moving around in bassinet more now. We'll soon need to raise the side next to the bed or think about migrating to the nursery... :( Sad day for mommy!
  • Giggles when ticked! It's still intermittent - but happens more and more often.
  • 4 Month shots coming up on Tuesday. Wish us luck! Maybe mommy can hold back her tears this time.
  • Ordered a chicken wing shaped teething toy. Extremely excited for it to arrive. May have to break out the chef hat again for a photo op we won't ever forget!
  • Asher smiles and laughs when mommy says, "SQUISHY!", and pinches his cheeks. This is the one source of laughter that works again and again.

Asher, I love you more than ever. How is it possible that my love grows for you everyday? I hope you know how much mommy and daddy love you and care for you. You are our world stuffed into one very small and extremely adorable package of cuteness.

Today I am leaving you with our latest iPhone Favorites. Asher is getting more animated each day and it's amazing to witness his budding sweet and silly personality.

Happy 4 Months, Baby Asher!

At this rate, we soon won't be calling you 'Baby Asher' anymore!

At 4 months old, you are rolling over from back to tummy and vice versa all by yourself. You make all kinds of sounds and when you're on your swing you "talk" to the monkeys spinning around overhead. You are sleeping 12 hours a night which makes mommy and daddy very happy and rested people! You  LOVE your little plush giraffe, "Sophie". You also love your pacifier, playing on the iPad, watching musical nursery rhymes on YouTube, having Doggies read to you and Goodnight Moon, watching your Signing Time DVD, and getting your diaper changed! You are always playing with or eating your hands, which can get very messy at times. You even have started "fake coughing" when you want all eyes on you! You little booger!

You are such a momentous joy - our happy, delightful baby. Even when you have moments of fussiness, we still love you more than is even imaginable.

Happy 4 months, little Asher! We love you!!!

The older teddy bear in some of the pictures from our 4 month old photo shoot today was John's bear when he was a baby. John's mom surprised John with it before Asher was born. I can't believe how great of condition it was still in! Asher will love him just as much as John once did, I'm sure.

The monthly onesies were a baby shower gift purchased from Etsy.

Hurray for the Short Week!

We had a lot of work to catch up on this week, being that it was such a short work week and also that wedding season is now in full swing! (Our small business is custom wedding decor, John and I run aside from when he's at the restaurant.) Therefore, we didn't have much opportunity to get out and about with Asher, but that does not mean the week was not filled with "excitement"!

We are back on the formula hunt as some of the allergy-related symptoms started showing back up with the soy formula. Gas, rash on face (that never really went away), lots and lots of nasty spit-up (did I say lots?), fussiness… I will be posting soon with all the the nitty-gritty details of our experimentation with several new ones. We have a doctor's appointment coming up soon so I will make the post after that. As of right now, we are trying out Similac Alimentum for food allergies and so far, pretty good. Fingers crossed that we'll get this figured out before he's on solids! Ha!

I'll finish off this week with some random thoughts on various baby-related subjects…

Velcro and I have made up. I am getting better about using the laundry tabs. Only once this week has some velcro had a fight with a blanket. That's an improvement! I can't say I'm not the one to blame…

Asher is rolling over in either direction all by himself now! He doesn't roll from tummy to back as much now since he is LOVING getting onto his tummy on his own. He's such a big boy!

We decided to forgo the birth announcement cards. :( It has been so long already, plus with Facebook and everything nowadays, it's not like anyone doesn't know! That makes me sort of sad considering how much I love sending out things like that, but hey, what are you gonna do? I'll just have to plan ahead a little more for baby #2. (No, there's not a baby #2 yet!)

Here are some more pics from Memorial Day weekend. We spent Monday with Asher's soon-to-arrive girlfriend inside our friend Nancy's tummy. Can you believe how great she looks with only 2 weeks left??

I can't say enough about how much I love our Schwinn Turismo jogging stroller. I even unfolded it with one hand yesterday while holding Asher. It's the best!
I got those awesome sandals for a steal from a Zulily sale!

And here are some pics from Sunday after our zoo experience back at John's parents' house for a BBQ. I snapped a bunch of pictures of Asher's 2nd Cousin, Reagan. She's such a cutie - I couldn't resist!

I am researching things we might need for our upcoming vacation to North Carolina for the 4th of July with John's family. It will be a long drive I'm anxious to see how that will go with a 5 month old (I can't believe he'll be 5 month by then!!!). Does anyone have any recommendations for gear we might need while traveling with a baby? Is a travel bassinet a necessity? There's just so much to think about... it can make your head spin!

14 Weeks + Phone Favorites

iPhone Photo Favorites!

{Forgive my writing today. I'm not really in the mood for full sentences!}

Asher's New Developments - 14 weeks

  • Phasing out the nighttime swaddle. Prefers to fall asleep swaddle-free, but then wakes himself up! Falls into a deeper sleep with it on, then "houdini"s his way out of it to suck on his hands. Gotta love it!
  • 95% there with the roll from back to tummy. Gets stuck on his arm! So close!
  • Erupts in the cutest laughter over the silliest things!!! 1. me singing the 'Diaper Dance' song 2. peek-a-boo with Mommy - VIDEO BELOW - SO CUTE!!! :)

  • Wants to look at my face while eating.
  • Can drink from his Tommee Tippee bottles now. Getting use out of our bottle stash - finally!
  • Awake for longer periods during the day and constantly wants to be entertained or carried... Mommy getting less done around the house. ;) HOWEVER, I tried a new position with our K'tan carrier today and this may be the solution... I got some much needed work done on the computer and Asher played piano on the iPad while in the K'tan. That required some interesting positioning, but worked out pretty well!

  • Introduced iPad baby piano app with farm animal sounds. LOVES IT! After only 2 days developing skills to touch the keys, he is now using his hands more than ever to grab and touch his toys, pacifier, self, my face, Suki, Sumo…
  • Asher is absolutely in LOVE with his Baby Signing Time Vol. 1 DVD. I need to get volumes 2, 3 and 4!
  • Learning various signs - milk, more, mama, dada, grandma, grandpa, diaper, dog, frog... He gets dog and frog mixed up, i.e. looks around for Suki I say "froggy". We're not expecting him to sign back until 7 months or so, but he's watching and taking it all in!
  • Reading him at least 1 book a day, sometimes 4-5 (baby cardboard books). Current Favorites: Little Monkeys Jump in the Bath, Goodnight Moon, Are You My Mother, Doggies by Sandra Boynton, & Llama Llama Red Pajama

MOMMY UPDATE - 14 Weeks Post-Partum
  • 3-5 lbs left 'til pre-pregnancy weight! Feels like 15 due to redistribution of weight and needing to tone up. :( I want to start running again but my body is still saying, "Yeah, right!" Thinking about the P90X DVDs collecting dust in our closet... but with a 3.5 month old?? Really??? Who has the time for that?????
  • Just when you feel like you're returning to some sense of normalcy, 3 mo. pp hits and you really do start losing your hair! My thick, pregnancy locks are everywhere except attached to my head. I swear there is hair all over the house. I'm shedding like one of our pugs! Ha!
  • The hair issue reminds me to be more easy on myself. My body is still going through a lot and my hormones are obviously still far from normal.
  • The songs from the Signing Time DVD are always stuck in my head. "It's time to eat, eat, what a treat! Eat, eat, eat!" LOL

I have LOTS of pictures to share from John's birthday yesterday (age 29 and holding?????), so be on the lookout for that post within the next few days when I finish uploading and processing the photos! Here's a teaser - First attempt at a baby-free day at the beach and there may or may not have been a thunderstorm that lasted all day. You just have to laugh on days like that! ;)

Baby's New Milestones

So much has been happening the past week! Our little man is trying with all his might to sit up in his rock and play. If he's in there and he's awake, he's trying to sit up! He's also making all kinds of new sounds and smiling more than ever.

Then... today, on his 12 week birthday... he rolled over from front to back! Here's a video. I'm such a proud parent!!

My heart melts - how is it possible that I love him more and more every day????

Patterns Week & Baby's First Cold

I'm not gonna lie - this week has been a challenge.

From diaper rashes to sensitive skin issues, possible cradle cap and hair loss to crankiness... we have really run the gamut with challenging baby issues this past week. To top it all off, Asher got his first cold. More on that in a minute.

It seems as though he is going through his second metal leap according to the wonder weeks. He was born about a week early, so supposedly that puts him a week behind in the stages since it is based on his mental development from conception. His behavior for the past week has definitely fallen in line with the signs of the "patterns" week. I haven't bought the book on the wonder weeks yet, but I did download the iPad app and have read a little about them online. He definitely wants to be entertained more than ever, cries at the drop of a hat, has a decreased appetite, and wants to be held all day. This all started about a week ago. While it is trying, it also is encouraging to see him hitting all these new milestones. He is holding his head up like a champ (and actually wants to do tummy time), he's shifting his weight forward while in my lap or when someone else is holding him and he wants to come back to me, he is more engaged with his toys, making new sounds, and has been playing with and staring at his hands... The book goes into much more detail on these weeks and offers suggestions on dealing with the extra fussiness associated with them. He's also exhibiting a lot of the "symptoms" of the third leap, too, though... blowing spit bubbles... sucking on his hands... so I am still sort of on the fence on this theory although it is very interesting and does seem to be hitting a lot of the marks!

Anyways, despite my best efforts to keep my germs away from John and baby Asher, they both ended up catching my horrible cold. Word to the wise - sanitize your hands during and after your pediatrician appointments! Many times! I think I picked this awful thing up at the pediatrician's when Asher was getting his vaccines last week. :(

It started with a few little sneezes here and there. They're cute until you realize that they are happening too frequently. Then I saw a runny nose. He didn't have a fever and he was (and still is) surprisingly happy for the most part, but I called the doctor anyways and they recommended using a nasal aspirator with saline drops if needed, keeping Asher upright, and keeping an eye out for a fever. Basically, we have to let his immune system do its job and just wait it out.

It's the hardest thing to see your tiny baby uncomfortable and sick when you know there is not much you can do! I couldn't help but feel guilty knowing that the cold came from me. I set up our Vicks Humidifier that I received at my baby shower to help decongest his little nose. It blows out "cool moisture" and has a Vicks scented insert for "soothing vapors". It seems to have helped a little! I've also been using our NoseFrida "Snotsucker" and that has been a big help. It's a unique spin on the standard bulb aspirator that instead uses a tube that you suck with your mouth. Lol! It sounds gross but it blocks anything from coming up the tube with a filter. Although it sounds weird, he actually likes it! It's supposed to be more gentle on their little noses. When I hold it up he smiles and after I "suck" at his nose, he laughs! He really is the cutest baby, even when he's sick.

It was incredibly difficult hearing his nasally sounding cries! Fortunately, it seems like he is getting better. He is starting to sound normal again and the runny nose seems to be gone. He's been very clingy and fussy at times, his appetite went down a little (whether related to the wonder week or to his cold, I don't know) - but he's still flashed us his wide grin and let out small bouts of laughter several times a day. What little schedule he had has certainly been disrupted, but hopefully we'll be back on track soon. He's a trooper, this one! I am extremely relieved that this did not progress into something serious and I will definitely be more careful about hand washing and sanitizing from now on!

As far as everything else we've been dealing with, I'm keeping a running list of blog topics originating from our crazy week. One in particular, our sensitive skin problems and seemingly never ending diaper rash. I'm at my wits end on how to keep it away and am going to give cloth diapers a try. I'm hoping that using them a few times a day when we're just relaxing at home will help air circulate better... we'll see! I'll definitely follow up our experience with a blog post!
